NORFOLK, Va. -- The Norfolk State women's basketball team will look to get their first win of the season on the road at Marshall on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Spartans (0-1) tipped off their season hosting Liberty (1-0) on Tuesday, dropping their opener 68-47.
Series History
- This will be the fourth overall matchup against Marshall, and the first time during head coach Larry Vickers' tenure.
- NSU is 0-3 all time versus Marshall, and 0-0 under Vickers.
Last Meeting
- The Herd came into Echols Hall and took a 81-67 victory against the Spartans in 2015-16, prior to Vickers becoming the head coach.
