NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State Athletics Department announced today that the University's radio station, WNSB (Blazin' Hot 91) FM, will be the official broadcast partner again of NSU football and men's and women's basketball as part of a new two-year agreement.
For the third year in a row, WNSB will exclusively carry all Spartan football games and a comprehensive schedule of men's and women's basketball games live on its station. In addition to over-the-air radio, games can be heard via live streaming on computer or mobile devices through the station's
TuneIn Radio website or the TuneIn Radio app.
"We are excited to continue our relationship with Blazin' Hot 91," said NSU Athletics Director
Melody Webb. "They have been a great partner with us over the years, and they provide great visibility for our sports programs. We are pleased our fans will again have this avenue to follow NSU athletics on-air."
Ross Gordon, an NSU alum, will return for his 20
th year on the microphone with the NSU Sports Network. He begins his 10
th straight year handling play-by-play duties. Woube Gebre will provide color commentary for select games for the third year in a row. The ODU graduate currently serves as a media specialist with the city of Hampton.
