DOVER, Del. – Chanette Hicks scored 22 points and Mikaela Jones added 14 points and eight rebounds to lead the Norfolk State women's basketball team to a 68-57 win over the Delaware State Hornets at Memorial Hall on Monday night.

The Spartans took control by closing out the third period on a 13-2 run capped off by a Hicks layup that gave NSU their first double-digit lead heading into the last quarter. Hicks took over in the third, scoring 10 of her 22 points in the third period.
