NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State softball team will host a walk-on interest meeting on Sept. 25 at noon at the NSU Softball Field.
Anyone looking to try out for the team must attend the meeting, which will take place in the bleachers next to the third base dugout to allow for social distancing. Masks must also be worn. Information and paperwork will be handed out at that time that players must complete and bring back before the actual walk-on tryout.
Included in the paperwork are
medical forms located on the Sports Medicine page of the NSU athletics website that tryout players are encouraged to get filled out ahead of time.
The actual walk-on tryout will take place between Oct. 7-9, depending on the size of the group. For more information, contact head coach
