NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's basketball program announced today that it has added St. Mary's College of Maryland to its schedule for this upcoming Sunday. The game will begin at 2 p.m. at Joseph Echols Hall.
It will mark the first ever meeting between the Seahawks and Spartans. It will also serve as the last game of the regular season for the Spartans before the MEAC Tournament from March 11-13.
NSU currently sits 12-7 overall, and in first place in the MEAC Northern Division at 7-4 heading into Wednesday's game at home against Delaware State to close out conference play.
The Seahawks own a 1-3 record and have played an additional six exhibitions this season, including against other MEAC schools Morgan State and Delaware State.
