GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Norfolk State bowling team dropped a pair of matches each day on Saturday and Sunday to No. 13-ranked North Carolina A&T during a dual meet at Triad Lanes.
The Spartans and Aggies played one Baker match and one traditional match each day, and N.C. A&T was triumphant each time. It began on Saturday when the Aggies pulled away for a traditional win, 1,076-851.
The Spartans then fell in Saturday's Baker match, 967-786. They dropped Sunday's Baker contest as well, 909-688, and that day's traditional match also ended in favor of N.C. A&T, 987-896.

Crystal Brewer had one of the best games of her career on Sunday in the traditional match, rolling a 223 in addition to her 180 on Saturday. Sophomore
Megan Wheat bowled a 189 on the second day, and senior
McKayla Lang tallied a 191 on Saturday.

Chanel Staton each bowled in both traditional games. All five made up the lineup for the two Baker matches as well.
This weekend's contests did not count toward each team's MEAC record for the season.
The Spartans will head back to N.C. A&T for their next competition. The Stallings Invitational will be hosted by the Aggies on March 13-14.
