NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State reaped the rewards Monday from its win over Morgan State this past weekend, as three Spartans collected MEAC weekly honors.

Receiver Da'Quan Felton was named MEAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, safety Stuart Anderson Jr. was selected Defensive Player of the Week and running back Kevon King was chosen Rookie of the Week.

Felton caught a career-high eight passes for 94 yards and the game-winning touchdown with five seconds left. His 3-yard score, over a Morgan State defender who was called for pass interference, helped the Spartans rally from a 21-17 deficit for the 24-21 victory. Felton caught three passes on the game-winning drive.

Anderson registered a career-high nine tackles, including one for loss and a forced fumble. His forced fumble came as he stripped Morgan State running back Alfonzo Graham at the Spartan 1-yard line with MSU about to score late in the first quarter. NSU recovered the fumble, thwarting a Bear scoring opportunity.

King carried four times for 36 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown run on the first drive of the game. That marked King's first career touchdown as a Spartan. He also caught one pass.

The Spartans are back in action Saturday as they host Delaware State for homecoming. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. at Dick Price Stadium.
