Three of NSU’s MEAC Games to Be Nationally Televised

| By:
NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State men's basketball will play on national television three times during MEAC regular season play, the conference announced on Tuesday morning.

The MEAC revealed four matchups that will be televised on ESPNU, all but one involving Norfolk State, the defending conference regular season and tournament champions. NSU will make the conference's TV debut for the season, heading to Morgan State on Monday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Two days after North Carolina Central and Howard tip off on ESPNU, the Eagles will play the Spartans at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30 at Echols Hall on the same channel. The teams met on national television last season as well, with N.C. Central coming away with a narrow three-point victory to snap NSU's six game winning streak.

The Spartans regular season finale at Howard will also be viewed by a national audience. That game will tip-off at 9 p.m., pitting against one another the top two teams in last season's regular season standings.

The MEAC also announced the entire 2023 MEAC Tournament for both men's and women's basketball will be aired live on ESPN networks, with specific channel designations to be determined later in the season.

All games on ESPN networks are available to stream on the ESPN App, which is accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets, and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
