Aleksandra Evdokimova is already gaining recognitions. The MEAC named Evdokimova the Women's Tennis Player of the Week for a standout performance against Loyola University Maryland on Sunday.
Evdokimova defeated Greyhounds sophomore Olivia Tracey in straight sets 6-2, 6-4, keeping the Spartans alive in what would eventually end as a 4-3 loss. The first dual match win of her career, Evdokimova now has a weekly MEAC honor to go with it.
The Spartan women will return to the court next Wednesday, Mar. 9, for its home opener against Longwood at the NSU Tennis Complex.
