NORFOLK, Va. – Thirty-three Norfolk State student-athletes earned degrees at the University's spring commencement ceremony, which was held last weekend.
Twenty-seven of the 33 graduated with honors, earning either cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude distinction. The graduates include 30 student-athletes who earned their undergraduate degrees and three who received master's degrees.
Of the class, seven of the graduates were football student-athletes, six came from the baseball program, five from women's track, four from men's track, three from women's basketball, two each from men's basketball, softball and volleyball, and one each from bowling and men's tennis.
