NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State Athletics Department announced Tuesday that tailgating reservations are now being accepted for all fans. .

Cost of a tailgating space is $500 for a season pass or $125 per game for the Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 29 and Nov. 12 games. The cost of a tailgating space for Homecoming on Oct. 15 is $200. Passes include access for one vehicle parking space.
 
An RV tailgating space is available for $175 per game or $250 for Homecoming. A season pass for RV tailgating for all four home games is $700 for the year.
 
To purchase single-game or season tailgating passes, mail the tailgating request form along with payment to the address shown or call the main Athletics Department office at (757) 823-8152 from Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The forms are available attached to this story and under the Tickets menu at www.NSUSpartans.com.
 
Fans can send in checks or money orders, made out to Norfolk State University with Athletics Tailgate in the memo, or fill out the credit card authorization section of the tailgating request form and return it to the address.

Tailgating lots will be open four hours prior to the start of each game and will close two hours after the conclusion of each game. No vehicles will be permitted onto the tailgating lots two hours or less prior to game time. All individuals who enter tailgating areas must have a game ticket.
 
The 2022 home football schedule begins on Sept. 17 against Hampton at 2 p.m. at Dick Price Stadium. NSU also hosts St. Francis (Pa.) on Sept. 24. Homecoming is Oct. 15 against Delaware State. NSU also welcomes Howard on Oct. 29 and N.C. Central on Nov. 12. All games begin at 2 p.m. and gates open two hours before the start of each game.
