Bryant Receives NABC First-Team All-District Selection

| By:
NORFOLK, Va. – After completing his collegiate career, the postseason accolades continue to pile on for Norfolk State fifth-year senior Joe Bryant Jr.

Bryant was named to the District 15 First Team on Tuesday by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), an organization founded in 1927 by former Kansas men's basketball coach Forrest "Phog" Allen.

Bryant was the only MEAC player named to the district's premiere team, although Morgan State's Isaiah Burke, Howard's Elijah Hawkins, and Coppin State's Sam Sessoms earned second team honors.

Bryant was joined on the first team by Josh Cohen (Saint Francis), Jordan Minor (Merrimack), Demetre Roberts (Farleigh Dickinson), and Grant Singleton (Farleigh Dickinson).

The Norfolk State guard averaged 17.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game this season en route to earning his second consecutive MEAC Player of the Year award.
