R.J. Coles and wide receiver
Tremayne Talbert were named to the Bluebloods Preseason Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Second Team, the publication announced on Thursday.

Coles, who was an All-MEAC Second Team selection last season, played in 10 games last season for the Green and Gold where he finished third in total tackles with 63, including 27 solo stops. In addition, he had one sack for seven yards, along with one quarterback hurry, one interception and one pass breakup.

Talbert appeared in 10 games in 2022 and finished second on the team in receptions with 35. He recorded 343 yards, averaging 34.3 yards per game and 9.80 yards per catch.

The MEAC All-Conference team of 59 players represents all six teams in the conference. North Carolina Central led the way with 15 all-conference selections, including 10 first-team selections. Howard had the second-most selections with 14 all-conference players, while Morgan State had 12 all-conference selections.
