HAMPTON, Va. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team makes its final stop on the three-game road stretch with the Battle of the Bay matchup with Hampton on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m.
 
Last time out the Spartans fell in a thrilling contest to No. 22 Alabama 68-58 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Senior Kierra Wheeler led the Spartans with a season-high 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
 
Graduate guards Niya Fields and Diamond Johnson also scored double digits with 14 points each. Senior forward Makoye Diawara led the Spartans in rebounds with 10, marking her second game this season with double-digit rebounds.
 
The last time the two squads met, Norfolk State won the contest 59-45 at Echols Hall in Norfolk, Va.
 
Saturday's contest will air on FloSports, available with a paid subscription. WNSB 91.1 FM will also provide radio coverage, with Ross Gordon on the call.
