NORFOLK, Va. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team returns home for the first time in three weeks to take on Shaw at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 at Echols Hall.
The Spartans will also head back on the road this weekend, traveling to Greensboro, N.C. to take on North Carolina A&T on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.
Last time out, NSU defeated Saint Louis 75-66 in Washington D.C. on Saturday, Dec. 7 during the Coaches vs. Racism Roundball Classic.
Graduate guard
Diamond Johnson led Norfolk State in scoring with 23 points. She also accumulated eight rebounds, six assists, six steals, and one block. Senior forward
Kierra Wheeler posted her fourth double-double of the season, recording 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Sunday's game against North Carolina A&T will broadcast live on FloCollege.
