AUBURN, Ala. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team returns from the holiday break to wrap up the 2024 portion of the 2024-25 season at Auburn on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 3 p.m. EST.
The Spartans meet the Tigers for just the second time in program history. The last time the two teams met, Auburn defeated Norfolk State 63-39 in Auburn last season.
Diamond Johnson and
Kierra Wheeler both led the Spartans in that contest with 15 points each.
Norfolk State looks to bounce back following a 90-47 loss to No. 19 North Carolina on Saturday, Dec. 21 in Chapel Hill.
Diamond Johnson led NSU with 19 points against UNC, grabbing eight rebounds. Sophomore guard
Anjanae Richardson also scored in double figures with 11 points.
