SETTING THE SCENE

The Spartans (15-5, 4-1 MEAC) are currently on fire, riding a three-game win streak looking to move to 6-1 in conference play while staying undefeated at home. 

On Saturday at 2 p.m., the Spartans will face the Hornets of Delaware State (6-12, 2-3 MEAC) at Echols Hall and will play the Hawks of Maryland Eastern Shore (10-10, 3-2 MEAC) on Monday in Princess Anne.

Whilst in this win streak, the Spartans are averaging 74.0 points per game on 49.4 percent shooting. They are averaging 14.0 steals, 37.6 rebounds, and 34.6 percent shooting from three-point range.

The Spartans have posted a six game win streak over the Hornets stretching since the 2019-20 season and a five game win streak against the Hawk since the 2018-19 season.

The Spartans have beaten the Hornets by an average of 28.6 points in their past six games and the Hawks by an average of 9.0 points.
