GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Norfolk State softball team dropped both of their doubleheader games against the Aggies of North Carolina A&T on Sunday. Game one was lost 13-1 and game two saw the Spartans fall 4-2.
Game one was lost after the Aggies put up 13 runs through four innings.
Norfolk State's only run of the game came in the fourth inning on a wild pitch scored by Bynna Stuffel with the bases loaded.
The Spartans (0-12) were off to a hot start in game two after a two-RBI single from Loren Hudson in the first inning put the Spartans up 2-0. Loren now has nine hits on the season which is second most on the team.
The Aggies (6-8) scored two runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to win the game 4-2 over the Spartans.
Coming up - The Spartans will be home for 11 consecutive home games with the first of them being against Central Connecticut State on Friday, Mar. 1. The game times are 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
