NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State will officially get its 2023-24 campaign underway in just a few weeks with its 11
th annual Tip-Off Weekend featuring the Tip-Off Dinner on Oct. 17 and Spartan Madness on Oct. 18.
Tickets for the weekend's festivities will go on sale on Friday, Sep. 20 at 10 a.m. EST.
Headlined by keynote speaker Danny Green, the dinner will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. A three-time NBA champion, Green has earned himself the reputation as one of the league's most efficient marksmen, shooting over 40.0 percent from behind the arc in eight different seasons.
Individual tickets for the event can be purchased on the NSU Ticket Website at a $90 rate, while an alumni/corporation table will cost $850. For more information, please contact

The festivities will continue the following day with Spartan Madness, a fast-paced, action-packed sneak peek of both the men's and women's basketball teams. Both squads will participate in an intrasquad scrimmage and 3-point shooting competition, before closing the night with a fan favorite: the men's basketball team's dunk contest.
