Jenkins opened the season strong with 15 points and six rebounds in a win over Washington Adventist, shooting 6-of-9 from the field and adding a block and two steals.

He followed up with nine points, three rebounds, two steals, and one block in NSU's record-setting 119-55 victory over Regent, as the Spartans broke their Division I single-game scoring mark.

The redshirt freshman capped the week with another 15-point performance in a narrow 81-78 loss to William & Mary, shooting 4-of-10 from the field, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc, and going 3-of-4 at the line. He also added seven rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal.
