NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State women's basketball junior Da'Brya Clark has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Clark opened the week with a well-rounded performance against Georgia Tech, totaling five points, three rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal.
She followed with a career-high 34 points to lead all scorers in Norfolk State's 100–54 victory over Dillard, shooting an efficient 15-of-24 from the field and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line. Clark added seven rebounds, five steals, three assists, and one block in the win.
For the week, Clark shot 17-of-37 (45.9%) from the field, 3-of-14 (21.4%) from three-point range, and 2-of-3 (66.7%) from the free-throw line.
Clark continues to rank among the MEAC's top all-around performers, sitting second in the conference in scoring at 14.9 points per game and three-point field goals per game (1.6). She also ranks third in free-throw percentage (84.6%, 33-of-39) and steals per game (2.7), while standing sixth in blocked shots (0.8).
Norfolk State returns to action on Monday, Dec. 15, when they take on Campbell at 7:00 p.m. at Gore Arena in Buies Creek, N.C.
