NORFOLK, Va. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team enters Saturday's contest on a nine-game winning streak dating back to Dec. 29th.
NSU is set for a matchup with Maryland Eastern Shore at the Hytche Center in Princess Anne, Md. at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. The Eagles and Spartans will meet for the 52nd time in program history.
The Spartans lead the all-time series against Maryland Eastern Shore 34-17. The teams met earlier this season with Norfolk State taking the 72-54 win. Senior forward
Kierra Wheeler led NSU with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Saturday's game will air live on Delmarva Sports Network. Radio coverage will be available on WNSB 91.1 FM, featuring
Ross Gordon on the call.

Da'Brya Clark (14) and

Norfolk State returns home on Monday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. for its second contest of the weekend against Delaware State. The matchup marks the 56th time that the two schools have met.
The Spartans took down the Hornets 94-54 at DSU on Monday, Jan. 6. Johnson led NSU with 28 points, adding eight steals, six assists, and five rebounds to her totals.
Makoye Diawara (16), Clark (10), and Wheeler (10) also scored double figures for Norfolk State in the win.
Gordon and Woube Gebre will provide the call on both ESPN+ and WNSB 91.1 FM for Monday's contest.
