NORFOLK, Va. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team hits the road for the final three games of the regular season, starting at South Carolina State on Saturday and at North Carolina Central on Monday.
 
Saturday's matchup is set for 12 p.m. at the Smith-Hammond-Middletown Memorial Center. The Spartans lead the all-time series against the Bulldogs 32-18, winning the last 15 meetings against SCSU.
 
Norfolk State picked up an 83-37 win the last time the two teams met at Echols Hall. Kierra Wheeler led the Spartans with 19 points and 16 rebounds, adding four blocks, four steals, and two assists to her totals. Da'Brya Clark (15), Makoye Diawara (13), and Diamond Johnson (12) all scored in double figures in the win.
 
The Spartans defeated Morgan State 90-46 on Monday. Johnson and Wheeler led the Spartans, both scoring 14 points in the win. The win marked NSU's 26th consecutive win at home, the largest active streak in NCAA Division I.  
 
Following the game with SCSU, NSU travels to Durham, N.C. to take on North Carolina Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 3rd. The two teams meet for the 42nd time in program history.
 
Norfolk State took down North Carolina Central 88-52 earlier this season at Echols Hall. Johnson put up big numbers for NSU, scoring 24 points while adding seven rebounds, five steals, and three assists in the win. 
 
Ross Gordon will provide radio coverage for both games on WNSB Hot 91.1 FM. Monday's game will also air live on ESPN+.
