WASHINGTON D.C. --- Norfolk State and Howard meet in the final game of the regular season on Thursday, Mar. 6 at Burr Gymnasium, with the Spartans entering the contest on a 15-game winning streak.
 
With a win, the Spartans will be crowned outright MEAC Regular Season Champions, while the Bison look to split the regular season title with NSU.
 
The matchup marks the 64th time the two schools have met. Norfolk State took down Howard 69-53 earlier this season at Echols Hall. Graduate guard Diamond Johnson led NSU with 24 points, adding eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and one block to her totals.
 
NSU clinched a share of the MEAC Regular Season Championship for the fourth consecutive season with a 96-57 win at North Carolina Central on Monday evening. Johnson dominated both sides of the ball with 19 points, eight rebounds, six steals, five assists, and two blocks in the win.
 
Ross Gordon will provide radio coverage for the game on WNSB Hot 91.1 FM. Monday's game will also air live on ESPNU with Jason Ross and Bria Goss on the call.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Norfolk State defeated North Carolina Central 96-57 on Monday
  • NSU clinched at least a share of the MEAC Regular Season title for the fourth consecutive season with the win
