NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State University Athletic Department and NSU Wrestling Alumni proudly announce the return of the Spartan All American Wrestling Camp, set for July 24–25, 2025, on the campus of Norfolk State University in Joseph Echols Hall. This year marks the second annual wrestling clinic, welcoming both girls and boys eager to sharpen their skills and compete at a higher level.
Following the clinic, the excitement continues with the first-ever
Summer Slam Wrestling Tournament on July 26, 2025, a new tradition designed to showcase young talent and build the future of Spartan Wrestling.
With the assistance of Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Melody Webb, and led by NSU Wrestling Alumni and its dedicated staff, the clinic will deliver affordable, high-quality coaching, mentorship, and hands-on training to youth wrestlers of all levels. Participants will receive instruction in fundamental and advanced techniques with an emphasis on continuous point scoring, competitive readiness, and sportsmanship.
"Our mission is to grow wrestling participation and make the sport more accessible to the next generation," camp director Kirwyn Adderly said. "We're excited to give back to the community and inspire young athletes through the same program that shaped our success, on and off the mat."
