NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its 2025-26 women's bowling preseason honors and predicted order of finish on Wednesday afternoon, with Norfolk State selected eighth in the poll as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
The Spartans closed the 2024-25 campaign in eighth place in the conference standings with a 2-12 record in MEAC play. At the MEAC Bowling Championships, NSU fell in its opener to eventual champion North Carolina A&T State (2-0) before being eliminated by fourth-seeded UAB, also by a 2-0 margin.
Looking ahead, Norfolk State will open its new campaign with the annual Alumni Green and Gold Game on Oct. 20, before officially beginning competition at the Virginia Union Invite in Richmond, Va., Oct. 31–Nov. 2.
