NORFOLK, Va. — A short film spotlighting Norfolk State head football coach Michael Vick has earned national recognition, as ESPN received an NAACP Image Awards nomination for its feature on Vick during College Gameday.
The project, College Gameday: Michael Vick, was nominated in the category Outstanding Short Form Series or Special – Reality/Nonfiction/Documentary, recognizing powerful storytelling that highlights impact, culture, and leadership. The feature chronicles Vick's journey, legacy, and continued influence as he leads the Spartan football program at Norfolk State University.
