ORANGEBURG, S.C. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team will travel to South Carolina State on Saturday afternoon to take on the Bulldogs in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action, with tipoff set for 2 p.m.
 
KEY STORYLINES
  • Head Coach Jermaine Woods is in his first season as Norfolk State's head coach. He is four wins away from career victory number 50.
  • Norfolk State and South Carolina State meet for the 53rd time in program history.
  • The Spartans has won the last 17 meetings against the Bulldogs, dating back to the 2015-16 season. Norfolk State has not lost in Orangeburg since the 2014-15 season
  • NSU has not lost on the road in MEAC play since Jan. 20, 2024 at Howard

SERIES HISTORY
  • Saturday's matchup marks the 53rd all-time meeting between Norfolk State and South Carolina State
  • Norfolk State leads the series 35-18
  • The series dates back to 1997-98 when NSU defeated SCSU 77-66 in Norfolk
  • The last Bulldogs victory came in the 2015-16 season when SCSU defeated NSU 60-52

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
