NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State and Delaware State will bring a little Halloween spirit to Philadelphia on Saturday, cohosting a Trunk-or-Treat Kids Event from 1-3 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field ahead of the schools' football matchup as part of One Philly HBCU Week.
The free, family-friendly event invites children to come in costume and collect candy and treats from decorated trunks hosted by both athletic departments and community partners. The event will be held on the concourse at Lincoln Financial FIeld.
The Trunk-or-Treat is part of the weeklong celebration surrounding the Spartans and Hornets' game at the home of the Philadelphia Eagles, which was announced in August to spotlight HBCU football and culture in the city. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
Fans can find game information on nsuspartans.com and purchase tickets at TicketMaster. Follow @NSU_Spartans across social media for updates throughout the week.
