Norfolk State University to Host Reception Introducing New Women's Golf Program 

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State University will host a reception on Thursday, February 12, to officially introduce the University's newly added women's golf program, marking an exciting expansion of opportunities for Spartan student-athletes. 

The reception will feature remarks from university and athletics leadership, including Dr. Javaune Adams-Gaston, President of Norfolk State University; Dr. Melody Webb, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics; and Antwyne DeLonde, for whom the Verrecchia-DeLonde Sports Performance Simulator in the James D. Gill Health and Physical Education Building is named. 

The event will also include remarks from Dr. Klenton Sparks, a former golf professional, who serves as the golf administrator of the Norfolk State women's golf program.
