Stephon Hall NCAA Career in Sports

Hall Selected for 2026 NCAA Career in Sports Forum

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State football student-athlete Stephon Hall has been selected to attend the 2026 NCAA Career in Sports Forum, held May 27-30 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Hall, a safety for the Spartans, appeared in four games during the 2025 season before sustaining a season-ending injury against Sacred Heart. He recorded 12 total tackles, including three solo stops, with his top performance coming in his collegiate debut against Towson where he tallied six tackles.

"We are incredibly proud of Stephon for earning the opportunity to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum," said Dr. Melody Webb, Norfolk State Vice President and Director of Athletics. "This prestigious program reflects his commitment to excellence both on and off the field. Stephon embodies what it means to be a Norfolk State student-athlete; driven, engaged, and preparing for success beyond competition. We are confident he will take full advantage of this experience as he continues to grow as a leader in the world of athletics."

The NCAA Career in Sports Forum is a highly selective, annual educational program that brings together approximately 200 student-athletes from across the country to explore potential careers in sports, with a particular emphasis on college athletics. The three-day experience is designed to assist participants in charting their professional paths while gaining exposure to various roles within the industry.

Throughout the forum, attendees will engage in panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with athletics administrators, coaches, and national governing body representatives at the campus, conference, and national levels. Programming focuses on helping student-athletes identify how their personal strengths align with career opportunities, while also providing practical tools for career development and transition into the sports industry.

Participants will gain insight into key areas such as personal branding, career planning, and navigating the sports job market, while also learning about the responsibilities of intercollegiate coaches, athletics administrators, and governing body staff members.

The forum is open to nominated NCAA student-athletes in their third, fourth, fifth, or graduate years of eligibility who have competed in an NCAA-sponsored sport during the current academic year. Institutions may nominate up to five student-athletes for consideration.

Hall's selection highlights his dedication beyond the field and positions him among a distinguished group of student-athletes preparing for future leadership roles within the sports industry.
