CARY, N.C. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team fell 4-0 to South Carolina State in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Tennis Championship on Saturday afternoon at Cary Tennis Park.
With the loss, the Spartans conclude the season at 14-11 overall in their first MEAC Championship appearance since 2021.

South Carolina State claimed the early advantage by securing the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead into singles play.
The Bulldogs opened with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles. Norfolk State responded at No. 3, where Szymon Malecki and Marcin Andrzejczak evened the score with a victory. The deciding match came down to the No. 2 flight, where Boris Lunin and Szymon Janzen battled but fell 7-5, giving South Carolina State the doubles point.
In singles action, the Bulldogs carried that momentum, securing wins at the No. 4, No. 2, and No. 1 positions to clinch the 4-0 victory and the MEAC title.
