NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State freshman
Emma Svetiev vaulted to MEAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after a winning performance at the NSU Invitational on Saturday.

The freshman pole vaulter captured the event title with a season-best clearance of 3.39 meters.

Norfolk State will return to action on Friday, Apr. 10 at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C.
