NORFOLK, Va. — The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced its 2025-26 Academic All-State honorees on Tuesday morning, with six Norfolk State student-athletes earning the recognition.
 
The six honorees include LaShaunna Burrus (bowling), Irena Iurea (women's tennis), Autumn Burrell (women's track and field), Walker Fuller (baseball), Brendan Burke (baseball) and Myles Crocker (baseball).
 
The group joins 215 student-athletes representing 36 schools across Virginia from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
 
To qualify for Academic All-State honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and have sophomore or higher academic standing during the 2025-26 academic year.
