NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State Athletics opens its fall home slate with a two-day doubleheader of season openers this weekend, and tickets for both events are on sale now online at
nsuspartanstickets.universitytickets.com.
Spartan volleyball opens the season Friday, Aug. 28, against USC Upstate at 5 p.m. inside Echols Hall. Football follows on Saturday, Aug. 29, hosting Winston-Salem State at 6 p.m. at William "Dick" Price Stadium in a Black Out Color Rush.
Tickets for both events must be purchased online. Fans are encouraged to buy in advance and have their tickets ready on their mobile device before arriving.

Head coach
Michael Vick and the Spartans open year two at Dick Price Stadium against Winston-Salem State in the first of five home dates in 2026. Saturday's opener carries a familiar face on the visiting sideline: Rams head coach Tory Woodbury previously served on the Norfolk State staff as assistant head coach and special teams coordinator. The meeting is the first between the two programs since 2009.
Saturday is a Black Out Color Rush. Fans are asked to wear black and fill Dick Price Stadium for the opener.
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. Tickets start at $25. All fans must have a ticket in hand before entering campus on football game days. Purchase early to avoid delays at the campus perimeter.
