Biography

2009-10 (Junior Year)
Saw action in 24 games, starting 23…led the team and ranked fourth in the MEAC in assists (94, 3.9 per game)…also finished second on the team and fourth in the conference in steals (42, 1.8 per game)…averaged 33.8 minutes per game, eighth-most in the MEAC…averaged 7.2 points per game, fourth among the team’s regulars…shot 39 percent from 3-point range…missed six games in December due to a broke bone in his hand, which he suffered during the Illinois State tournament…scored in double figures seven times, including a season-high 20 points in the win at Howard (2-15-10)…was 7-of-11 from the floor in the game while tying his career-high scoring output…had eight points and a season-high-tying seven assists against Illinois State (11-27-09)…poured in 14 points and matched his season high with seven assists in the win at Florida A&M (1-11-10)…tied his career high with seven steals at Winston-Salem State (1-23-10)…notched 10 points and seven assists in the home loss to Morgan State (1-31-10)…tied his career high with 11 rebounds in the win over Coppin State (2-1-10)…scored in double figures in back-to-back games for the only time during the campaign when he recorded 10 in the come-from-behind win at Hampton (2-13-10), then scored 20 two nights later at Howard…finished with 13 points in the team’s second loss to Morgan State (2-27-10) and contributed 10 points in the regular-season finale at North Carolina A&T (3-4-10)…named to the NSU and MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic teams.

2008-09 (Sophomore Year)
Started 29 games and played in all 31 in his first season in a Spartan uniform…led the team and ranked fifth in the MEAC in assists (3.8 per game)…his 117 total assists set a new single-season Division I era school record…ranked second in the MEAC in assists in conference-only games (4.6)…ranked second in the MEAC and 20th in the nation in steals (2.4)…averaged 3.1 steals in conference games, the second-best mark in the league…also finished third on the team in scoring, at 6.5 points per game…shot 40 percent from behind the 3-point line, best on the team…was 12th in the MEAC with his .686 free-throw percentage…handed out at least five assists in a game on nine occasions…scored in double figures seven times…had eight points and six assists in the season-opener at Longwood (11-16-08)…scored 10 points in back-to-back games against UC Irvine (12-22-08) and Utah Valley (12-28-08)…finished with eight assists and a season-high seven steals in the win over Delaware State (1-17-09)…had five steals and four assists in the first win over S.C. State (1-24-09)…scored in double figures in three straight games, against Florida A&M (2-9-09), Delaware State (2-14-09) and UMES (2-16-09)…scored 16 points to go with five rebounds and five assists vs. FAMU…scored a season-high 20 points while grabbing six rebounds and four steals at DSU…was 5-for-5 from the free-throw line in both games…notched 13 points at UMES…dished out a season-high 12 assists in the win over Hampton (2-28-09)…recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds vs. Howard (3-2-09)…also had six assists and six steals in playing all 40 minutes against the Bison…grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds, 10 on the defensive end, in the win over N.C. A&T (3-5-09)…scored 10 points in the MEAC quarterfinal win over Bethune-Cookman (3-12-09).

At Reedley (Freshman Year)
A first-team All-Central Valley Conference pick as a freshman in 2006-07…averaged approximately 13 points and six assists per game…redshirted the 2007-08 season.

High School
A two-year letterwinner at St. Mary’s…led team to the Long Island championship both years…led the team in assists as a senior, when St. Mary’s went 25-1 and attained the No. 1 national ranking during the season.
