2006: Saw playing time in all 11 games…served primarily as a backup at tight end…started three contests and made his mark as a blocker. 2005: Participated in all 11 contests, helping on special teams and as a reserve tight end…was given the Spartan Courage Award by the NSU sports medicine staff for overcoming injury. 2004: Played in the first six games of the season…caught one pass for 12 yards against South Carolina State, his first career reception…broke his fibula in the loss to Hampton and missed the final three games of the season. 2003: Redshirted. High School: Lettered four years in football, three in basketball and one in wrestling…named to the All-Southeastern District football team as a senior…played offensive and defensive line…had 45 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions on defense and was credited with 30 pancake blocks on offense as a senior…was an honorable-mention all-district pick at defensive end as a junior, when he had 42 tackles and seven sacks…was also credited with 24 pancake blocks as an offensive lineman that year.
