2016-17: Named the NSU track and field team MVP. Indoor: Repeated as MEAC indoor shot put champion with a top throw of 52-5.5 at the conference meet … Broke his own school indoor record with a throw of 55-10.25 at the CNU Holiday Open, good for second place … Won the shot put at both the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open (53-3) and Liberty Kickoff (54-2.5) … Won MEAC Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at UNC … Also placed sixth in the shot put at the Penn State National with a top throw of 54-8.75. Outdoor: Placed seventh in the discus at the Tribe Invitational (116-5) … Was ninth in the shot put at the Virginia Grand Prix (49-2.25) and 10th at the Colonial Relays (47-2.25) while dealing with an injury … Placed third at the MEAC Outdoor Championships with a top throw of 51-5.5.

2015-16: Indoor: Broke his own previous school record in the shot put on three occasions … Won the MEAC indoor shot put title with a school-record throw of 55-3 in his final attempt … Also won the shot put title at the CNU Holiday Open (52-8), Hampton Indoor Invitational (52-3.75) and UNC Open (54-1, then a school record) … Named MEAC Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at UNC … Also eclipsed his old school record earlier in the season with a mark of 53-3.25, which earned him third at the Penn State Relays. Outdoor: Threw the shot and discus … Was MEAC runner-up in the shot put (54-3.25) and placed 10^th in the discus (129-2) … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring semester and was named to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team … Named the track team’s Most Improved Athlete.
 
2014-15: Indoor: Set a new school indoor record with his throw of 53 feet, 0.25 inches at the Penn State National … That marked placed him eighth at the meet and was the second-best mark in the conference during indoor season … Finished as runner-up at the UNC Open (52-9.5) … Was third at the CNU Holiday Open (52-4.5). Outdoor: Season-best throw was 51-1.75 at the Colonial Relays, where he placed sixth … Also competed at the Penn Relays (50-3.25) … Named the NSU Track & Field Rookie of the Year.

High School: Lettered two years in football and four in track and field … A first-team All-Conference 4 pick at defensive end as a senior … Also made the All-Region 6A South second team … Started at defensive end and at tight end/H-back … On defense, registered 72 tackles, 22 for loss, and 14 sacks … A key blocker on an offense that ran for over 3,000 yards both of his final two years … Also first-team all-district and all-region as a junior … In track and field, won the VHSL State 6A shot put title as a senior with a personal-best throw of 61 feet, 6 inches … Was also the conference and region shot put champion … Placed eighth at the New Balance Nationals in the event … Won conference shot put and discus championships as a junior in addition to winning the regional shot put title … Personal-best in the discus was 158 feet, 6 inches.
