2016-17: Member of the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for the spring semester. Indoor: Notched a third-place finish at the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open in the shot put with a mark of 46-6.25 … Placed seventh at the CNU Captains Invitational (45-3) and fifth at the CNU Vince Brown Invitational (46-6.25) … Posted a PR of 48-5.5 to finish fifth at the MEAC Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Opened outdoor season with a third-place finish at the Tribe Invitational (45-11.75) … Capped his career with another PR of 48-8 at the MEAC Outdoor Championships, good for seventh place.
 
2015-16: Indoor: Set a season-best with his throw of 47 feet, 9.25 inches, earning him third place at the CNU Vince Brown Invitational … Brought home an eighth-place finish at the 2016 MEAC Indoor Championships (45-9) … Also placed ninth at the CNU Holiday Open (45-9) and fourth at the Hampton Indoor Invitational (45-6.5). Outdoor: Season-best was 47-5 at the Morgan State Legacy Meet, which was good for a third-place finish … Took ninth at the MEAC Outdoor Championship (44-11.5) … Placed third at the Hampton Relays (47-3).

2013-14: Indoor: Competed in two meets, the Hokie Invitational and the Hampton Invitational … Placed 13th at Virginia Tech’s meet with a top season throw of 44-9.75. Outdoor: Season-best throw was 44-4.75, which earned him sixth place at the Virginia Cup … Also topped the 44-foot mark at the Morgan State Legacy meet (44-1.5) and the Coastal Carolina Invitational (44-5.5).
 
2012-13: Indoor: Posted an indoor season-best throw of 46 feet, 5.5 inches to place ninth in the shot put at the MEAC Indoor Championships … Took sixth place in the shot put at both the CNU Captains Invitational (45-5.25) and Hokie Invitational (44-9.75). Outdoor: Season-best shot put came at the NSU Relays (46-3.25), where he won first place … Was ninth at the Tribe Open (44-8.25) … Took 15th at the MEAC Outdoor Championship (44-2).
 
High School: Lettered three years in both track and football … Earned all-state honors as a senior when he placed third at the VHSL Group AAA state meet in the shot put with a mark of 53 feet, 1 inch … Had personal bests of 54-6.5 in the shot put and 135-8 in the discus.
