    2007 (Junior): Played in eight games as a backup tailback…carried 32 times for 113 yards, third-most on the team…had career highs of 15 carries for 82 yards and his only touchdown of the year in the opener against Virginia State…was slowed by nagging injuries much of the season…moved back to defensive back during the team’s spring practices. 
    2006 (Sophomore): Appeared in eight games at cornerback in his first season at NSU…started four games, two as the “nickel” cornerback…posted 14 total tackles (five solo), with two tackles behind the line of scrimmage…deflected four passes for the season, three in the season-opener versus Virginia State…had one tackle for loss at Hampton and one at Howard…was moved by the coaching staff to running back for spring football. 
    At UCM: Played in six games in 2005 for the Chippewas, mostly on special teams…redshirted 2004. 
    High School: A star running back and defensive back at Southfield, Hicks was rated the No. 46 player in Detroit his senior season by The Detroit Free Press…earned three letters in football and two in track at Southfield...also played tailback where he ran for 800 yards...made 65 tackles...finished career with 100 tackles and four interceptions...ran a leg on 4x100m relay state championship team.
