Norfolk State University Athletics

    2008 (Junior): Played in all 12 games off the bench…totaled 16 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and one sack on the year…also had one fumble recovery and one interception…had three tackles, including half of a sack, against N.C. A&T…had three tackles, one TFL, half of a sack, and an interception against Florida A&M…recorded three tackles and a fumble recovery against Morgan State…notched a career-high four tackles vs. Delaware State. 
     2007 (Sophomore): Played in three games, against Virginia State, Rutgers and Bethune-Cookman. 
    At St. Peter’s: Played in 10 games as a freshman in 2006 for St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, N.J., before transferring to NSU…made 30 tackles during his freshman season, including three for loss…also forced one fumble. 
    High School: Lettered four years in football and three in track. 
    Personal: Deon Michael Norris was born on October 9, 1988…son of Michael and Shannon Norris…majoring in accounting.
