2009 (Junior)
Emerged as a starter in his third season at NSU…started six times and played in all 11 games…tallied 19 tackles, two for a loss…had two QB hurries, blocked two kicks and deflected a pass…earned his first career start vs. Bethune-Cookman, registering one tackle for loss…credited with two QB hurries and also blocked an extra point against Hampton…deflected a pass at FAMU…blocked another extra point two weeks later against Howard…had a career-high six tackles, one behind the line of scrimmage, at DSU.
2008 (Sophomore)
Appeared in all 12 games…was a key special teams player as well as a second-string outside linebacker…finished the season with 10 total tackles, two for a loss…returned a Virginia State fumble 49 yards for his first career touchdown in the season opener…had one tackle for loss at William & Mary…made a career-high three tackles at Howard…also had one tackle for loss in the win against Morgan State.
2007 (Freshman)
Saw action in 10 contests…a reserve outside linebacker and a regular on special teams units…made seven tackles for the year, four solo…had two tackles, half for a loss, against South Carolina State…blocked an extra point in the win at Morgan State.
High School
Four-year letterwinner in football and track…first team All-Central District at defensive line as a senior…tallied 49 tackles and five sacks for the Central Region champions…also selected second-team All-Central Region and honorable mention All-Metro by the Richmond Times Dispatch…the Blue Devils went 40-6 during his four years.
