Biography

Redshirt Senior Year – 2018-19
Graduated in May with a degree in sociology … Named the team’s defensive player of the year after leading the team in blocks (60) and blocks per game (2.1) … Played in 29 games for NSU, cracking the starting lineup 26 times … Averaged 7.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27 minutes of action … Ranked second in the MEAC in blocks per game … Blocked the fourth-most shots in a single-season in program history while logging the fourth-highest blocks per game average in a season … Set the program record for blocks in a career against Bethune-Cookman in the MEAC Tournament championship game and finished with 153 rejections in her two-year career … Also set the team record for career blocked shot average (2.7) … Led the Spartans in blocks 23 times and was the team’s top rebounder in 11 games … Logged multiple rejections in 17 games … Scored seven points with two assists and two blocks in the season opener at Ole Miss on Nov. 6 … Set a career high with seven made free throws against Liberty on Nov. 25, finishing the game with 11 points, six rebounds and a block … Scored 13 points alongside six boards and three rejections at High Point on Dec. 15 … Logged a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double with four blocks against St. Augustine’s on Dec. 18 … Named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week on Jan. 8 after recording nine blocks, six coming against Florida A&M on Jan. 7, in two games … Matched a personal best with four assists against Bethune-Cookman on Jan. 14, also scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting … Scored 15 points and sank the first and only 3-pointer of her career at South Carolina State on Feb. 21 … Blocked four more shots and pulled down nine rebounds against Maryland Eastern Shore on Jan. 26 … Turned away five B-CU shots in a loss on Feb. 9 … Swatted six shots vs. North Carolina Central on Feb. 16 and received her eighth MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honor in two seasons three days later … Had four blocks against Coppin State on March 2 … Barely missed a double-double against Howard on Senior Night, finishing with nine points and 10 rebounds … Had seven points and eight rebounds against Howard in the quarterfinals of the MEAC Tournament … Scored seven more with a block and steal in an upset win over top-seeded North Carolina A&T in the semifinals.

Appeared in 27 games, making 26 starts … Averaged 7.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 27.3 minutes per game … Set the program’s all-time single-season record for blocked shots (93), surpassing the previous mark of 65 set by Sheila Vereen in 1990-91 … Blocked a shot in 26 of 27 games this year, including multiple rejections in 24 games … Ranked first in the MEAC and third in Division-I with 3.4 blocks per game, also topped the conference in total blocks … Rejected seven shots in her team debut against VCU on Nov. 12, which is tied for the fifth most by a Spartan in a single game … Blocked six or more shots on five occasions … Named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week six times … Reached double figures in scoring on seven occasions and led NSU in scoring once … Recorded 10 or more rebounds twice and paced the Spartans in boards 10 times … Led her team in blocks in 20 games … Set a career high with three steals against Bowling Green on Nov. 24 … Scored 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting against St. Francis Brooklyn on Nov. 25, beginning a streak of three-straight games with 10 or more points … Fell one rebound shy of a double-double against High Point on Nov. 29, finishing the game with 10 points, nine rebounds and five blocks … Set career highs in minutes (40), points (19) and field goals made (eight) in an overtime victory at William & Mary on Dec. 21, also chipped in three assists and a steal … Tallied 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting with seven rebounds and six blocks at North Carolina Central on Jan. 8 … Dished out a career-best four assists against Morgan State on Feb. 3, also blocked three shots … Had her first double-digit rebound game of the season against Delaware State on Feb. 12, grabbing 13 boards to go along with five points and two blocks … Recorded a 10-point, 17-rebound double-double at Maryland Eastern Shore on Feb. 24 … Made a career-high five free throws in an overtime win at Howard on Feb. 26 … Blocked six shots against Hampton in the regular-season finale on March 1 … Ended the season with a six-point, 14-rebound, three-block showing against Savannah State in the MEAC Tournament.

At Virginia Tech (Sophomore Year - 2015-16)
Appeared in 14 games … Averaged 0.9 points and 0.9 rebounds per game … Tallied 13 points, 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal on the season … Recorded a season-high four points, with one rebound and one assist in 10 minutes against Morgan State … Registered a season-high three rebounds at Penn State. 
 
At Virginia Tech (Freshman Year - 2014-15)
