Norfolk State University Athletics

    2006: Started 10 of the season’s 11 games…led the Spartans in pass deflections (eight)…made 30 tackles on the season, 12 of them solo…had a career-high six tackles and an interception in the Florida A&M game…had three pass breakups in the opener vs. Virginia State…made five tackles and deflected one pass at South Carolina State…recovered a fumble vs. Morgan State and Delaware State. 
    2005: Played in all 11 games, starting the first nine of the season…made 30 tackles, second among NSU’s cornerbacks…made 18 solo stops…deflected four passes, forced one fumble and had 1.5 tackles for losses…broke up two passes and made his first career interception at North Carolina A&T…had five solo tackles at Florida A&M…also had five tackles, one for loss, and forced a fumble against South Carolina State. 
    2004: Played in the final six games of the season, exclusively on special teams. 
    High School: Lettered four years in football, basketball and track at Great Bridge…was a first-team All-Southeastern District pick at cornerback as a senior, when he tallied 58 tackles, three for loss, and intercepted three passes…also caught 29 passes for 428 yards and seven touchdowns as a wide receiver.
