High School: Competed on the varsity team at Langham Creek HS her junior and senior seasons … MVP of the freshman team before competing on the JV team as a sophomore … Also competed at the AAU district and national levels in track and field in the discus and shot put … As a freshman on the JV team, tied for first in the shot put at the high school district meet … Also placed third that year in the 1,600 meter relay and the discus … Ran JV track her sophomore year as well.
 
Club: Competed for the Texas Tornados for two years on the 17 Mizuno and 18 National team … Also spent three years before that with the Houston Juniors on the 14 Navy, 15 National and 16 National teams.
