2011-12 (Senior Year)
 
Started all 36 games … became the first player in MEAC history to win the conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors in the same season … also selected the Lou Henson Award winner as the nation’s mid-major Player of the Year … earned MEAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors after leading the Spartans to their first-ever MEAC title and NCAA Tournament berth … also a first-team All-MEAC, NABC All-District 15, VaSID All-State and Black College All-America selection … led the MEAC and tied for fifth in the nation with 20 double-doubles … also ranked 14th in Division I in field goal percentage (57.3), 15th in blocks (2.7) and 16th in rebounding (10.3) … led the Spartans and finished sixth in the MEAC in scoring, at 15.9 points per game … also paced the MEAC in rebounding and blocked shots for the second straight year while ranking second in field goal percentage … posted 11 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks in the Paradise Jam victory over Drexel (11-18-11) in the second of seven straight double-double outings … followed up that performance with 17 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in the win over TCU which sent the Spartans into the Paradise Jam championship (11-20-11) … contributed 10 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in the narrow 59-57 Paradise Jam title round loss to No. 16 Marquette (11-21-11) … tallied 23 points, 11 rebounds, a career-high five assists and five blocks in the victory over Eastern Kentucky (11-27-11) … had 14 points, eight rebounds and two blocks before fouling out after 29 minutes of action at Virginia Tech (12-11-11) … had another dominant effort in the win over Long Island (LIU), posting 22 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and six blocked shots (12-14-11) … had back-to-back double-doubles in road wins over St. Francis (N.Y.) on 12-23-11 and Navy on 1-1-12 … recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds at St. Francis and 17 points and 11 boards at Navy … also shot 11-of-12 from the foul line at St. Francis, setting a new personal-best for free throws made in a game … helped lead NSU to a double-OT come-from-behind win at Morgan State with 25 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high tying seven blocks in a career-high 49 minutes played (1-14-12) … that was the first of three straight 20-point performances for O’Quinn … followed up the MSU game with 24 points, a career-high tying 19 rebounds, two assists and two blocks at Coppin State (1-16-12) … shot 11-of-15 from the floor in that game … recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds in the first win at Hampton (1-21-12) … had a season-high 27 points and 18 rebounds in a loss to Coppin State (1-30-12) … scored all 27 of his points and grabbed 15 of his 18 rebounds in the Spartans’ 69-point second half … tallied 18 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks in NSU’s second win over Hampton (2-11-12) ... became just the seventh player in school history and first in the Division I era to reach the 1,000 career rebound mark when he snared 12 boards in a loss to Delaware State (2-15-12) … grabbed 16 more rebounds in the Senior Night win over Longwood (2-20-12) … had 20 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor in just 17 minutes of a win at Bethune-Cookman (2-25-12) … averaged 16.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in three MEAC Tournament games … had 18 points, nine rebounds and two blocks in the MEAC quarterfinal win over Howard (3-7-12) … posted 13 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in the semifinal victory over FAMU (3-8-12) … recorded 18 points, seven rebounds and one block in the championship win over Bethune-Cookman (3-9-12) … led No. 15 seed NSU’s 86-84 upset of No. 2 seed Missouri by scoring 26 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in an NCAA Tournament second-round game in Omaha, Neb. (3-16-12) … was 10-of-16 from the floor and added two assists, two steals and a block in 37 minutes played … had the go-ahead three-point play with 34 seconds left, which started with a weak-side offensive rebound and put-back … also forced a key jump-ball with an offensive rebound following a teammate’s missed free throw with eight seconds left, giving the Spartans the possession ... the win was NSU’s first-ever in the NCAA Division I  Tournament and was just the fifth 15-over-2 upset in tourney history … finished his career 15th in school history in scoring, sixth in rebounds and first in blocked shots … following the season, became the first Spartan since 2000 to be invited to attend the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT) for collegiate seniors … earned PIT MVP honors by averaging 11.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game to help his Portsmouth Sports Club team finish in second place.

2010-11 (Junior Year)
NSU’s first-ever MEAC Defensive Player of the Year award winner … also voted to the All-MEAC first team...selected to the Boxtorow HBCU All-America first team by www.boxtorow.com... also named to the Mid-Major Defensive All-America team by www.collegeinsider.com and to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State second team … also named NSU’s 2010-11 Male Athlete of the Year … ranked in the top 10 in the nation in blocked shots (fourth, 3.4 per game), rebounds (fifth, 11.1) and double-doubles (eighth, 19) … led the MEAC in blocks and rebounds, was second in field goal percentage (55.6) and fifth in scoring (team-high 16.4 ppg) … was even better against MEAC opposition, averaging 19.6 points (second in the MEAC), 11.9 rebounds (first), 3.8 blocks (first) and shot 63.2 percent from the floor (second) … set a new single-season school record with 110 blocked shots … also established a new school Division I-era single-season record with 355 total rebounds and 11.1-rebound average … earned MEAC weekly honors eight times during the season, taking home Player of the Week accolades four times and Defensive Player of the Week four times … posted his first double-double of the season at Atlantic 10 member St. Joe’s, scoring 23 points while pulling down 13 rebounds (11-20-10) … had a streak of four straight double-doubles in games with Fairfield, Iona, North Carolina A&T and Maine … had the first of his five six-block games on the season while also scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the loss to Iona (11-30-10) … followed that up with 27 points and 18 rebounds in an overtime loss to A&T (12-4-10) … had 17 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks in a win over Florida A&M (1-10-11) … recorded 13 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks in a win over N.C. Central (1-22-11) … posted 26 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in a televised victory over S.C. State (1-24-11) … was 11-of-15 from the floor and a season-best 2-of-2 from 3-point range in that game … was a perfect 9-for-9 from the foul line while scoring 24 points in the next game, a win at Morgan State (1-29-11) … had a career night two days later in the 110-108, double-overtime win at Coppin State (1-31-11) … scored a career-best 37 points and matched his personal-best with 19 rebounds against CSU … also tied his season best with six blocked shots, went 13-of-18 from the floor and tied his career bests with 10 made free throws in 13 attempts … played 47 minutes in that game, which was a career high at the time … that began a season-long streak of six straight double-doubles for O’Quinn … other games in the stretch included a 21-point, 14-rebound effort in a loss at Delaware State (2-7-11) and a 20-point, 15-rebound, five-block game at NCCU (2-19-11) … helped NSU complete a season sweep of Morgan State by scoring 23 points and grabbing 18 rebounds (2-26-11) … ended the season with four straight double-doubles, including three in the MEAC Tournament … also blocked 20 shots over his final four games of the season … opened the MEAC Tournament by scoring 25 points to go with 12 rebounds and four blocks in the victory over Howard (3-9-11) … was 8-of-11 from the floor and 9-of-9 from the free throw line in that game … had 10 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks in the MEAC quarterfinal win over Coppin State (3-10-11) … capped the season with 19 points, 17 rebounds and six blocked shots while playing all 40 minutes in the semifinal loss to Hampton (3-11-11) … voted to the MEAC All-Tournament Team.

2009-10 (Sophomore Year)
An All-MEAC second-team selection in his first full season as a starter … played in all 30 games and started 29 … third on the team in scoring (11.5 ppg) and first in rebounding (8.7), field-goal percentage (.549) and blocks (1.7) … led the MEAC in field-goal percentage, ranked second in both rebounds and blocked shots, and finished 16th in scoring … was even better against MEAC opposition, averaging 14.0 points (seventh-best in conference play), 10.1 rebounds (second), 2.4 blocks (first) and shot 59.2 percent from the floor (first) … tallied nine double-doubles during the season, fourth-most among MEAC players … was a two-time MEAC Defensive Player of the Week selection (Feb. 15 and March 1) … scored in double figures 15 times, including a stretch of 10 in a row from Jan. 18 through Feb. 20 … had his first double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Maine (11-16-09) … scored the game-winning points on a layup with five seconds left in that contest … poured in 25 points, his second-highest tally of the season, and grabbed 12 rebounds in the loss to North Carolina A&T (12-5-09) … also hit a season-high three 3-pointers against the Aggies … scored a season-high 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting in the loss at South Carolina State (1-25-10) … also had 11 rebounds and three blocked shots in that game and registered career bests in free throws made and attempted (10-of-13) … had three straight double-doubles in games against Coppin State (2-1-10), Maryland Eastern Shore (2-6-10) and Delaware State (2-6-10) … recorded 18 points and 13 rebounds against CSU, 12 points and 10 boards vs. UMES, and 12 points and 17 rebounds against DSU … posted 23 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high seven blocked shots at Morgan State (2-27-10) … also shot 11-of-13 from the floor in that game … grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds, including a personal-best seven offensive boards, in the win at Coppin State (3-1-10). 

2008-09 (Freshman Year)
Played in all 31 games and started twice … ranked fourth on the team in scoring at 5.3 points per game … also averaged 3.4 rebounds per game … MEAC Rookie of the Week on two occasions … shot 49 percent from the floor and 38 percent from behind the arc … ranked 11th in the MEAC with 25 blocked shots (0.8 per game) … scored in double figures six times … scored 12 points on perfect 5-of-5 shooting in his collegiate debut at Longwood (11-16-08) … also had six rebounds and three blocked shots in that game … tallied nine points and six rebounds at Michigan (11-25-08) … earned his first career start at N.C. A&T (12-6-08) … scored six points in his second start of the season, vs. UC Irvine (12-22-08) … recorded 11 points and four rebounds against Utah Valley (12-28-08) … notched his first career double-double with 10 points and a season-high 12 rebounds at Coppin State (1-10-9) … earned MEAC Co-Rookie of the Week honors for that performance … poured in a season-high 21 points and tied his season high with three steals in the come-from-behind win at S.C. State (1-24-09) … scored 17 of his points in the second half … shot 7-of-9 from the floor, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, against the Bulldogs … was a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor and 4-of-4 from behind the arc in that one to again earn MEAC Rookie of the Week accolades … scored 10 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the next game, against Winston-Salem State (1-26-09) … .hauled in 10 rebounds against UMES (2-16-09) … matched his season high with three blocked shots in the second meeting with S.C. State (2-21-09) … scored 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting off the bench vs. Hampton (2-28-09) … contributed eight points and made 4-of-5 from the free-throw line in the MEAC semifinal win over S.C. State (3-13-09).

 High School
A two-year letterwinner at Campus Magnet for coach Charles Granby … averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks as a senior … a first-team All-Queens and third-team All-Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) selection … led Campus Magnet to a 24-5 record, the divisional championship and the quarterfinals of the city tournament.
