2014 (Junior): Started 33 times behind the plate and played in 40 games total … hit .228 with 11 RBI and 21 hits … threw out 14 would-be base-stealers and had 28 assists against just five errors behind the plate … went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in the loss to Xavier in the Furman First Pitch Invitational … that was the first of three two-hit games for Hotusing on the year … also went 2-for-5 with a run scored in the finale of the April series at UMES … had a double and two RBI in game one of the final UMES series … went 3-for-7 with three RBI in that three-game set … matched his season highs with two hits and two RBI, going 2-for-3, in the MEAC Tournament win over Florida A&M.
 
Previous Colleges: Received All-Region XI honorable mention as a sophomore at Southwestern CC … batted .310 with 18 RBI and threw out nearly 50 percent of would-be base stealers … attended Wake Technical CC in Raleigh, N.C. as a freshman … hit .299 that season.

High School: Listed as a “high follow” by Perfect Game coming out of G. Holmes Braddock … was a Florida Region honorable mention honoree as a senior by Perfect Game … hit .274 as a senior.
