Biography

2021 (Senior)
Appeared in all 11 games … Started eight times … Earned first-team All-MEAC honors … Caught eight passes for 88 yards and three touchdowns on the year … Scored on 3-yard TD receptions against Wake Forest and Morgan State and a 25-yarder that sealed the win in the final minutes at St. Francis … Also a key blocker for NSU’s No. 1 ranked total, rushing and scoring offense.

2020 (COVID)
NSU did not play due to COVID-19.

2019 (Junior)
Played in all 12 games and started six times … Started the first five games of the year and also the Bethune-Cookman game … Amassed 14 catches for 159 yards and three touchdowns on the year … Made three catches in the opener at Old Dominion … Caught a 4-yard TD pass at Coastal Carolina … Scored on a 6-yard reception at Montana State … Posted season highs of four catches for 49 yards against Florida A&M … Also scored on a 26-yard reception vs. FAMU … Made two catches for 35 yards against S.C. State, which included a career-long 30-yard catch … NSU AD Honor Roll member for the spring semester.

2018 (Sophomore)
Served as NSU’s starting tight end … Played in all 11 games and started all seven in which NSU deployed a tight end to begin the game … Made nine receptions for 112 yards during the year … Had two catches for 30 yards to open the year vs. Virginia State … Posted season highs of three receptions and 34 receiving yards at South Carolina State … Had single receptions of 16 yards vs. N.C. Central and 18 yards at Savannah State … Hauled in two passes against Howard.

2017 (Freshman)
Appeared in all 11 games … Started five times at tight end (Virginia State, JMU, Delaware State, FAMU, Howard games) … Made eight receptions for 102 yards on the year … Posted season highs of four catches for 58 yards in the win at DSU … Caught a 26-yarder in that game, his longest reception of the year … Also caught one pass in four other games (VSU, William & Mary, N.C. Central, Howard).

2016 (Redshirt)
Redshirted the season.

High School
Did not play football until his senior season ... Earned second-team All-Conference 9 honors at receiver in his final high school season ... Caught 21 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns ... Added 38 tackles, 15 for loss, and nine sacks as an outside linebacker ... Also a four-year basketball standout, Williams averaged 15 points and eight rebounds per game as a junior ... Earned first-team All-Conference 9 honors and was honorable mention All-Tidewater in basketball as a junior.
