    2008 (Freshman): Ranked fourth in the MEAC in punting average (39.3) in his rookie year…pinned 18 of his 63 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line…averaged 40 yards per punt in four separate games (Kentucky, N.C. A&T, William & Mary, Hampton)…had six punts of at least 50 yards, including two over 60…averaged a season-best 46.2 yards on four punts against N.C. A&T…kicked a 62-yarder the following week at William & Mary…boomed a season-best 63-yarder at Hampton…pinned three of his punt inside the 20-yard line against Howard. 
    2007 (Redshirt): Redshirted. 
    High School: Lettered three years on the football team and four on the soccer team…first-team All-Central District and second-team All-Central Region kicker as a junior…also second-team all-district at punter as a junior… named to the all-district soccer second team as a junior and first team as a sophomore. 
    Personal: William Watson Rudd IV was born on April 26, 1989…son of Bill and Robin Rudd…majoring in exercise science.
