Biography

    2007 (Junior): Started all 11 games at center…handled all but four offensive snaps for the season…named MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his effort against Virginia State…helped pave the way for 493 yards of offense against the Trojans, grading out at over 90 percent…also earned the team’s highest offensive line grade against Bethune-Cookman, N.C. A&T, S.C. State and Delaware State…graded at least 90 percent on his assignments on three occasions (VSU, Bethune-Cookman, Hampton). 
    2006 (Sophomore): Started the first 10 games of the year at center…missed the finale versus Winston-Salem State due to injury…graded out at over 80 percent in three of the first four games of the season. 
    2005 (Freshman): Played in four games…blocked for special teams units…served as the reserve center to Jason Kressen. 
    2004 (Redshirt): Redshirted. 
    High School: Lettered three years in football and four in wrestling…was an all-conference selection as a junior and senior…recorded 33 pancake blocks as a junior…was an all-conference wrestler as a sophomore. 
    Personal: Brandon Dominique Nance…born January 12, 1986…son of Timothy Jones and Cheryl Nance Pegues…majoring in sociology.
